Your Potato Salad is Boring Everyone

A few things of note:

1.  I’ve started riding the underground here in LA and have decided this will DEFINITELY become a trend throughout the summer.  I save on gas, it’s cooler (temperature-wise AND aesthetically) and I don’t have to drive around for hours looking for parking around IOWEST or church.

2.  Yesterday was an all time low in commercial audition content.  It was bluer than smurfs.  But even more interesting to me was the older American gentleman opposite me who asked if he could do his role with a British accent for no apparent reason.  It was hands-down the ballsiest, worst decision I’ve seen yet in an audition room.  They let him do it the first time through with a British accent and then politely asked him to just do it “normal.”

3.  Last night’s show was a disaster for me.  I was caught in a web of information I knew nothing about (dictators, seder, running, etc.) and had a few moments on stage where I thought about giving up all together.  There are few shows where I actually contemplate throwing my hands up, leaving the stage and going to sit in the audience.  Last night was one of those shows.  Improv is a wave.  Last week’s show was fantastic.

4.  It’s hot in the valley.  The radio man said 104 today.  No thank you, Sun.  Please stop.

5.  “What the Frequency Kenneth?” by R.E.M. is a great song.
